A Simple Way to Add Color and Interest to Your Space

I'm a girl who loves her neutrals. In part because it gives our home a calm, casual feel that makes it my haven from the craziness of everyday life. And also because it gives me the freedom to change up my accessories and bring in new colors, textures, and patterns for an easy, inexpensive room refresh.

I'm working on a few updates to our living room, including adding some color and pattern to our two neutral linen swivel chairs. Since you see only the back of one chair and the front of the other as you enter into the room, I'd like to add color to both sides rather than just adding pillows. It's put me on a hunt for a pair of beautiful throws, some vintage fabric, or even a textured runner that I can drape over my chairs to add interest to the back of them:

as well as the front:

It's a look that I love on sofas too:

{Skona Hem}

Can you imagine how all of these spaces would look if the throws were taken away? Not nearly as interesting or fun!

I haven't found the perfect thing to drape over my chairs just yet but these are some favorites that I've come across in my search:

Hopefully a great find for my space is right around the corner and I'll soon have some new living room pictures to share. Thanks so much for stopping in today!
