You know that you are decorating-obsessed when you're not only decorating and redecorating your current home but you're also thinking about how you would decorate the rooms in your past home differently if you were to do it all over again. Do you do it too?
One room that I was never totally happy with in our old house was our family room - the art that I hung on the wall behind our sectional just wasn't quite right but I left it alone thinking a better plan would come to me at some point and then I'd switch it up. That time never came since we ended up moving kind of unexpectedly. But I've seen a bunch of images lately that have me thinking that placing an oversized floor mirror behind our couch might have been the way to go: An oversized mirror behind a couch or sofa can help make a small room feel bigger and I especially love the idea of using one when it faces windows or sliders and reflects the outdoors. Is it something that you'd think about for your house or is art above the couch/sofa where your heart is at?
And on an unrelated note, what did you all think about the mega stack of Restoration Hardware catalogs that UPS delivered last week? I almost got a hernia lugging mine in from our front porch...Hope you all have a great start to your week!
