We're going to have a quiet Easter this year with just our little family of four but I still wanted to make our holiday dinner special so I put together a very simple Easter table using lilies and other natural elements:
I paired our everyday white Target dishes with fun printed napkins that I found at Barry & Fred (the Juliska outlet store) in two different patterns:
and added pine and lichen bird nests from Terrain (we have a local store but they are also available online {here}) filled with a few blown quail eggs:
Along the center of the table is a decorative copper bunny perched above a weathered pot (a gift from my mom years ago), flanked by Easter lilies:
The lilies smell so amazing!
The pots are wrapped with bark strips (found {here}) that I first soaked in warm water to make them flexible and then tied in place around each pot with a ribbon.
And since I haven't taken you on a full tour of the dining room yet, here's a few pics of the rest of the space:
You'll find more about the decorative plate wall (my favorite part of the room!) {here}
Thanks for coming along on the tour! If you celebrate Easter or Passover, is your gathering going to be small and simple like ours or do you have lots of friends and family in town to celebrate with? We've got two extra seats at our table if you want to stop on by.... :)
Update: I've had a lot of questions about the paint color on the dining room walls - it is a slightly tweaked version of Sherwin-Williams Keystone Gray. This is the formula:
