I'm excited to be linking up to Linda's One Room Challenge again! If you're not familiar with it, the challenge is to completely makeover a space over the course of six weeks while showing you the progress along the way. So this is sure to be my most challenging decorating project ever but I know I'll enjoy getting to spend some extra time working with this super special client :) There's lots of work to be done - here's what her mishmash of a room looks like (after the clothes and mounds of junk were picked up off the floor...
Lilac walls with a bold pink and green duvet - great color combo don't you think? Not so much. They're both outta here along with the cheap particle board nightstand. The IKEA chest of drawers and the swing chair (which we hung a few months ago and she loves!) are going to be the only survivors of this room makeover.
We don't have everything for the room planned out yet but I gave my girl free rein on picking a duvet and she chose this one - PB Teen's Newport Wave. It has some great colors to work with.
And the walls? We're going bold with green!
