This past week has been a crazy busy one with working on my youngest daughter's room for the One Room Challenge, celebrating my other daughter's birthday (how can I possibly be the mother of a teen?), participating in Good Housekeeping's Spring Fling event (which was so much fun - what a great group of people!), and getting our house ready for friends who are coming to visit for the weekend (including my favorite shopping buddy - we can't wait to do some serious NYC shopping together).
And there's another event that's right around the corner - Mother's Day, which is Sunday May 11th. So I'm working on figuring out what to get my mom for a gift and my husband is bugging me about what he can get for me. I know that he's going to buy me a Mother's Day gift whether or not I come up with ideas for him (and his success rate for presents he picks out on his own isn't so hot...) so I figured I'd better help him out.
