Join Me at Good Housekeeping's Spring Fling 2014!

One of my favorite things about living in Connecticut is being able to take easy day trips into New York City. Most of my visits are with the whole family but I also love having the opportunity to run into the city by myself to visit my favorite home stores and go to special events that I wouldn't have the chance to attend if we were living anywhere else. Next week that's exactly what I'll be doing because Good Housekeeping is having their 2nd annual Spring Fling on Tuesday April 29th at Grand Central Terminal!  
It's basically all of your favorite things about Good Housekeeping magazine wrapped up into a fun (and free!) one day event. You'll be able to watch cooking demos and sample fresh-from-the-Test-Kitchen goodies,

And of course Good Housekeeping magazine is always full of great home decorating ideas so those will come to life at Spring Fling too - you'll find me at the event giving DIY demos and sharing some great project ideas for livening up your home like this fun mason jar hanging herb garden:
