We wrapped up our second Best of the Nest link party this week and let me tell you, there was so much inspiration! I love seeing all of the amazing things that you all create and finding new blogs and bloggers to connect with. Today we're featuring a few of our favorites from the party - we all feature different links so be sure to visit the other party hostesses too!
Jennifer @ Dimples & Tangles
Pam @ Simple Details
Lisa @ Shine Your Light
As always, if you see something that you'd like to pin, please click the link and pin from the original site. Thanks :)
I have a scratched up old end table that I've been hanging on to forever because I love the lines of it. Now I know exactly what to do with it - use Sara's lime wash DIY techniques to give it some new life! She used a combination of wood stain and paint to turn an inexpensive Craigslist find into this lime washed beauty:
Most of us simply chunk our Christmas ornaments into storage boxes until next year but Jennifer found a creative way to use some of her ornaments year round. Using $1 agate ornaments from Target and a gold leafing pin she created these super chic agate coasters for a fraction of what you'd buy them for in stores.
Spring has sprung at Robin's house! She decorated her mantel for the season in two different ways - this simple but beautiful option is my favorite (love those bunnies...). Hop over to her blog and see if you agree or prefer option #2!
If you have an old TV cabinet that you're thinking you should ditch, you'd better check out what Gloria did with hers first. With the help of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and some mad distressing skills, she took her old wood cabinet and turned it into this beautiful shabby chic piece that's now the star of the room!
And one of my favorite parts of the link party is getting to see all of the creative things that our nonblogger friends have been up to! Jessica and her husband have been going through their house window by window and adding farmhouse trim. It's amazing what a bit of trim can do - love the new look! You can find Jessica on Instagram {here}.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to visit Pam, Lisa, and Jennifer's blogs to check out their featured posts also. And if you were featured this month, feel free to grab our button:
