Block Printed Fabrics: John Robshaw & More

Some girls can't get enough of shoes, but me?...I can't get enough of fabrics. Take me to a room of fabric samples where I can play around with mixing and matching different colors, textures, & patterns and I'm a happy girl. Lately I'm finding myself drawn more and more to block printed fabrics like these from John Robshaw:
John describes his signature look as "an updated spin on the exotic, handmade object; a vibrant mix of sophistication and romantic allure."

As you can imagine, John Robshaw's textiles don't come cheap so when I flipped through the latest Ballard Designs catalog, I was excited to find that they have a new Ava Block Print bedding line at a very reasonable price point.

Some other reasonably priced block print bedding options are Crate & Barrel's Sereno Blue Hand-Blocked Bed Linens:

and West Elm's beautiful Hand-blocked Medallion Quilt & Shams:
I love how most of the block print bedding has a different patterns on the back of the duvet/quilt, creating a fun mix of patterns when you turn down your bed.

What do you think about the block printing look - is it for you?
