Off the Cape Giveaway Winner!

The Off the Cape giveaway wrapped up last night and I enjoyed reading the comments this morning and seeing everyone's favorite finds from this unique shop. Our giveaway winner had just as hard of a time choosing how she would spend her $50 gift certificate as I would. She left this comment on the giveaway post:

I'm off to start priming my dining room - the top half of the walls were previously a faux finished light blue with some textured striping so I had to skim coat them to get rid of the textured stripes. 
Definitely not a fun job but I read about the marvels of the "Magic Trowel" for skimcoating walls (I bought mine on Amazon) and I have to agree that it made the job so much easier. If only they could invent a magic sander because that my friends is the part that I truly can't stand! Have a good one!
